Cogia AG acquires majority stake in elastic.io GmbH

2021

Frankfurt, September 8, 2021 - Cogia AG announced today that it is acquiring 51% of the shares in elastic.io, Bonn, a wholly owned subsidiary of mVISE AG (Deutsche Börse Scale, ISIN DE0006204589), with immediate effect.

Cogia AG (ISIN DE000A3H2226) is a specialist for AI-based solutions in the areas of Big Data analytics, customer satisfaction management and media monitoring, and with the acquisition will also gain a specialist for interfaces to a wide range of SaaS providers.

Pascal Lauria, CEO of cogia AG, says: "With the acquisition of the majority shares, we continue to successfully pursue our goal of inorganic growth through strategic acquisitions. The synergies between cogia and elastic.io are the basis for strong growth in operations."

The acquisition of 51% will be made in exchange for cash, and a contractual arrangement has also been made for the remaining 49%. Cogia will finance the cash payment from the past capital increase as well as the raising of debt capital. The parties have agreed not to disclose the amount of the purchase price, or the repayment of the loans granted by mVISE AG.

The managing directors and authorized signatories will remain at the top of the company and thus continue to contribute their experience to the company.

Thanks to the acquisition of elastic.io, cogia can stand out from all its competitors. With its interfaces, elastic.io offers the possibility to link the Cogia Customer Experience Manager with any systems and data in an existing IT landscape, such as the existing CRMs or ERPs within companies. "Cogia brings Customer Experience 'into the square' with its Big Data and AI solution, and with elastic.io now also the data to be processed," commented CEO Pascal Lauria on these synergies.

Founded in 2013, elastic.io has since addressed the cloud-based application market following the SaaS business model. The fast-growing SaaS market is driving the need for easy integration. elastic.io offers a platform with an easy-to-use developer toolkit and a marketplace with standardized connectors to various SaaS providers that can be embedded in SaaS applications and billed on a "pay per use" model.

Cogia GmbH enters into a strategic and technical partnership with elastic.io

2021

Frankfurt, 05th July 2021. Cogia GmbH, a leading AI and Big Data Analytics - provider of web monitoring services in the areas of Customer Experience, Competitive Intelligence as well as Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), is partnering with elastic.io, a German-based born-in-the-cloud innovator and established expert in enterprise integration solutions.

Whether a company acquires another software application or cloud solution, or two existing systems need to exchange data smoothly with each other, a professional hand is needed to get the overall solution up and running successfully. This is exactly what elastic.io has made its mission: to support companies in connecting all the systems they use so that they can devote themselves entirely to the actual business processes.

With this partnership, Cogia aims to build bridges. Their unique Customer Experience Management² (CXM²) solution approach, based on AI-based sentiment and trend analysis and their patented semantic search and categorization technology, can be combined with an integration with CRM and ERP systems developed by elastic.io. This way, customer satisfaction data is no longer ignored.

"This combination will bring immense benefits for the companies that want to be successful in the future and take today's evolution towards customer centricity seriously. The fact that the technical planning and execution of these processes will be handled by such a reliable expert as elastic.io makes us happy and excited about the future collaboration," comments Pascal Lauria, CEO and founder of Cogia, on the new partnership.

Dr. Kevin Mobbs, business manager at elastic.io, agrees: "The value of any data analysis increases with the number of enterprise data sets available. However, integrating diverse data sources can require a long timeframe and a variety of skills. With elastic.io, data integrations are reproduced faster and easier. As a result, CXM² customers achieve faster value creation and deeper insights. We look forward to working with Cogia and their innovative CXM² platform."

Cogia's CXM² enables companies to track, measure and analyze customer feedback from every touchpoint across the entire customer journey and especially on the social web. This data is essential for a long-term and good customer relationship. With the help of elastic.io, the integration is done in an optimal way so that companies get a harmonious overall solution.
